Statement Savings*

  • A basic Statement Savings account can be opened with a minimum deposit of $50.
  • Fees: A monthly maintenance fee of $1.00 will be imposed if the balance drops below $100 anytime throughout the month. A transaction fee of $2.00 will be charged for each auto transfer in excess of six during a calendar month.
  • Interest will be compounded and credited to your account every quarter.

Golden Investment Savings*

  • A Golden Investment Savings account can be opened with a minimum deposit of $1000.
  • Fees: A transaction fee of $2 will be charged for each withdrawal, or auto transfer, in excess of six per calendar month.
  • Interest will be compounded and credited to your account every quarter.

Platinum Investment Savings*

  • A Platinum Investment Savings account can be opened with a minimum deposit of $10,000.
  • Fees: A maintenance fee of $10 will be imposed every statement cycle if the balance in the account falls below $10,000 any day of the cycle. A transaction fee of $2 will be charged for each withdrawal, or auto transfer, in excess of six per calendar month.
  • Interest will be compounded and credited to your account every quarter.

Christmas Club Accounts

  • A Christmas Club Account can be opened with a minimum of $10.
  • You may receive payment by auto transfer to an Antwerp Exchange Bank account or by check in October of each year. Any withdrawals made before the October payout date may result in account closure.
  • Christmas Club Accounts earn the Statement Savings account rate.
  • Interest will be compounded and credited to your account annually in October upon payment.

Certificate of Deposit

  • A Certificate of Deposit can be opened with a minimum deposit of $500.
  • The Antwerp Exchange Bank offers a variety of terms with competitive interest rates.
  • A penalty may be imposed for withdrawals before maturity.

IRA – Individual Retirement Accounts

  • AEB offers a variety of Individual Retirement Accounts, including: Traditional, Roth, SEP and IRA Certificates.

*Transfer Limitations - The Federal Reserve requires that savings accounts are intended to be used for savings goals and have few withdrawals. Regulation D limits the number of transfers from a Statement Savings, A Money Market Golden Investment or a Platinum Savings to six (6) per calendar month. The type of transfers limited are: Transfers from a savings account to another account or to third parties by preauthorized automatic, or telephone transfers with no transfer by check, draft, debit card, or similar order to third parties. If you exceed the transfer limitations set forth in any calendar month, your account may be subject to closure by the financial institution.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What this means to you: When you open an account with us, we will ask for your name, physical and mailing address, date of birth, IRS issued Identification Number (e.g. Social Security number, Individual Taxpayer Identification Number, Employee Identification number) and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your current driver’s license current valid State issued ID card with a current address listed on it, or other identifying documents.
